The IAM promotes the science of Administrative Management in all its branches for the public benefit. The IAM's qualifications and ongoing self development programmes are about the effective and efficient development, implementation and management of the organisation's systems and resources to achieve its goals and objectives.
Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration - MQF Level 3
The IAM Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration supports those already working in, or aspiring to work in, business positions. Holders of the qualification will develop essential knowledge and understanding across a range of practices and learn how to work collaboratively.
A combination of mandatory and optional units based on the business and administration national occupational standards, offers learners flexibility to study units that specifically interest them. The course can be studied full or part-time and takes between six and 18 months to complete. Students are assessed by multiple choice examinations. The qualification is accredited by the appropriate qualification Regulatory Authorities.
Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration - MQF Level 4
The IAM Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration supports those already working in, or aspiring to work in, business positions. Holders of the qualification will develop essential knowledge and understanding across a range of practices and learn how to work collaboratively.

The IAM Level 4 Diploma in Business and Administrative Management supports those already working in, or aspiring to work in, business management positions. Holders of the qualification will also be eligible for progression to various UK university degree programmes.
A combination of mandatory and optional units offers learners the fl exibility to study those units that are of interest to them. The course can be studied full time, which takes one year; or part time, which takes two years. Students are assessed by formal examination, controlled assessment, case studies and assignments. The qualification is accredited by the appropriate qualification Regulatory Authorities.

It is for those who aim for high level managerial roles in organisations. It focuses on topics which are necessary for those who want to understand how organisations plan their activities at a strategic level and how they implement these plans in a way that contribute towards the smooth running of organisations and the maximisation of their competitive advantage. Candidates will develop a holistic approach to business together with the analytical and evaluative skills necessary for those in managerial positions.

Level 6 Extended Diploma in Business and Administrative ManagementThe Level 6 Extended Diploma in Business and Administrative Management is inspired by the MBA (Master’s in Business Administration) model and approaches learning in a practical, applied way. It is for those who aspire for senior level managerial roles in organisations.
The Extended Diploma should, normally, take three years to complete. The units become gradually more difficult as candidates progress through the qualification.
The Extended Diploma is based on the IAM definition of administrative management, namely that the administrative management function supports organisations in planning, organising, directing and controlling their business activities across all functional areas.
Candidates will develop a holistic approach to business together with the analytical and evaluative skills necessary for those in management positions. They will become familiar with the theory which underpins research methods and techniques. The qualification is accredited by the appropriate qualification Regulatory Authorities.
