The MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management course has been designed to provide an understanding of the complex production flows, production processes and distribution channels of supply chains, together with operational issues of logistics, purchasing and supply chain management.  This course will equip you with the expertise required to apply new technologies and techniques to solve present and future problems facing logistics providers or supply chain managers in the UK and overseas.  This new and exciting course will act as a foundation for a career as a logistician or supply chain manager, or alternatively give you the necessary skills and knowledge for research at doctoral level (PhD).  This course is accredited by CILT and CIPS. And the school is accredited by leading professional bodies, such as the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).

 

The M.Sc. in International Project Management programme provides the expertise and knowledge in specialist project management methodologies complemented with a comprehensive foundation of generic management skills which have ready application in both public and private sector.

 

The programme aims to produce skilled managers capable of administering major projects within and across organisations, utilising the latest tools and technologies. It will encourage creative thinking and the development of leadership and management skills through teamwork, discussion and peer review. Building on a foundation of the generic skills required by tomorrow’s managers, the course explores the wider context of project management, the extended enterprise, commercial and contractual issues, finance and risk. Applicants will engage in independent study and systematic enquiry at an advanced level and take responsibility for the conclusions drawn from it.
